Superkids Team

Superkids is a humanitarian aid initiative within the Asia Waiting Child Program of the Gladney Center for Adoption. Our goal: to improve the lives of children in Chinese orphanages via adoption advocacy, medical and rehabilitation services. Starting as a tiny team providing services to special needs children in a single facility in Shanghai in 2007, we've grown to a broad coalition of physicians, early childhood development specialists, teachers and volunteers who've aided 500 children in orphanages across China.

Precious Maddox! {Taiwan}

Maddox is a precious baby boy who was born in June 2015. Maddox has a sweet smile that he shares with his caregivers. He makes eye contact when being held or talked to, and he startles at loud noises. He can roll front to back and can hold his head up for several seconds. Maddox will reach for objects and can grasp small objects when placed in his hands.

Meet Mason! {Taiwan}

Mason is a cute little boy with a sweet smile who is just celebrated his 7th birthday. His caregivers describe him as good-natured and noted that he has bonded well with them. He is currently in the first grade and his teacher reports that he is usually lively and playful at school.

Happy Hope

Hope is such an outgoing, happy little girl! She loved coloring in the coloring books we had with us when we visited with her in September and especially liked if one of us would sit and color with her.

Cute Cecily!

Cecily is part of CCCWA’s new Ambassador of Love program. Prospective Parents are invited by the CCCWA to meet this child in China as part of the matching process. For more information please contact superkids@gladney.org.

I was going to write a post titled The Many Faces of Cecily, but then I wouldn't have been able to show you the cute crawling pictures and video, so obviously that was out.
