MATCHED!!
Hiding behind her caregiver, a petite girl came forward. Her name is Danica. Her hair pulled back with a striped shirt and black pants, she waits patiently for her turn with the team. The team starts by asking questions about her such as what she likes and doesn’t like or her favorite food and color. Danica was very reserved and quiet. When a hard question was asked and she did not know how to answer it she would simply look up and give a sweet smile.

Donald took a while to warm up. He looked as if he was sizing all of us volunteers up. He was shy and quiet. Even when he was given Legos, he carefully inspected the box and looked at the instructions before diving into them.

Most of the time we post about matches on Family Friday, but today I want to tell you about Molly. I have taken photos of Molly on 3 different occasions. The first time was in September of 2015. She came bouncing into the room and we all smiled. She was cute and spunky and had that little spark that makes a child really stand out. It was our first time visiting that SWI and we were not sure yet if a partnership would be established between Gladney and the SWI.

The dynamic duo consists of Debbie and Donnie. They get the name dynamic duo because it means two people who are really close or always together. Debbie is the oldest by 2 years. Debbie is noted for looking out for her brother and reminds him of things he needs to do. But as they are getting older Donnie is starting to look out for his sister more and more.

Jaeya is a 4 year old girl whom I have met several times. She is a little shy and has the sweetest little smile. It takes her a little time to warm up, but she does enjoy playing with our little puzzles and toys if we give her that time.
