Hunter was a 9 year old boy the advocacy team got to meet. He was very shy and reserved on the first day. When we tried to find out why we were told he was embarrassed by his hand. He sat back most of the morning and just seemed to take everything all in and check us out it was not until after lunch he opened up.

Taiwan Trip - Day 4

We had an absolutely amazing and jam-packed day at Chung Yi.  We met many wonderful social workers and of course adorable kids. We saw some young ones and some school aged ones. We saw some girls and some boys.  Some shy and some outgoing and talkative.  We saw them all and we loved every second of it.

Let me tell you he is much more than that! He is always willing to provide suggestions for everything from food to finding the Lego store! And will communicate with you using jovial gestures, google translate and a little English too.

Taiwan Trip - Day 2

What an amazing day two for our Superkids team here in Taiwan. Today we got to see 7 children! The amazing part... 4 of these precious kids are already matched with their "forever" families! This gives great hope to us as we continue our journey with Taiwan and Cathwel. Advocating for these precious little ones is such a privilege.

I almost didn't recognize Logan when he came into the room when we were in China last month! His hair had grown so much and the skin condition he is diagnosed was not visible at all until you looked for it! He is so, so cute!
