The SuperKids Adventure Program by the Gladney Center for Adoption offers families a unique opportunity to build meaningful connections with children from Colombia and Taiwan. In Summer 2025, children from these countries will join families across the US for an unforgettable 2-3 week stay, providing both the children and families a chance to learn, grow, and connect on a deeper level.
Families from Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah will have the opportunity to participate, with strong local support to guide them throughout the process.
Why Colombia?
Colombia is one of the Latin American countries participating in the SuperKids Adventure Program, and it holds a special place in Gladney’s international adoption efforts. Many children from Colombia have been waiting in institutional care for years, eager to experience family life and connect with caring families in the US.
These children bring rich cultural traditions, resilience, and unique stories. Participating families not only open their homes to these incredible kids but also gain a deeper understanding of Colombian heritage and values. Who Are the Children?
The children participating from Colombia are school-aged and teens, with some being part of sibling groups. All are eligible for international adoption and may have minor medical needs or be medically healthy. Many have been waiting for a long time to find a family that will embrace them for who they are.
Participating in the SuperKids Adventure Program allows families to get to know these children beyond paperwork, fostering authentic connections through shared experiences.
