The SuperKids Adventure Program by the Gladney Center for Adoption isn’t just about connecting children with potential families—it’s about building bridges between cultures. In Summer 2025, children from Colombia and Taiwan will join families across the US for an unforgettable experience of learning, love, and cultural exchange.
Families from Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah will open their homes and hearts to children eager to share their cultures—and to learn about life in the US.
When Cultures Collide, Connections Grow
The SuperKids Adventure Program isn’t just about family—it’s about connection. Imagine sharing a meal where American traditions meet Colombian flavors or learning to fold paper lanterns with a child from Taiwan. These moments of cultural exchange create lifelong memories for both the children and the families involved.
Children from Colombia and Taiwan will experience what it’s like to be part of a family, attend local events, and explore American customs. In return, families will learn about the rich traditions, languages, and stories that these children bring from their home countries. It’s a meaningful opportunity for both to grow and connect in ways they never expected.
Who Are the Children?
The children in the SuperKids Adventure Program come from diverse backgrounds in Colombia and Taiwan. They range in age from school-aged children to teens, and many are part of sibling groups. All of them are eligible for international adoption and have either minor medical needs or are medically healthy.
For these children, the program is more than a visit—it’s a chance to experience family, culture, and belonging in a new way.
Who Are the Families?
Families from Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah are invited to participate in this one-of-a-kind cultural exchange. These families are passionate about learning from other cultures and sharing their own traditions in return. Many of them are considering international adoption and see this as an opportunity to connect on a deeper level with a child who might one day become part of their family.
Gladney provides strong support services in each participating state, ensuring families have everything they need to thrive during this experience.
