I was so excited when I learned that we would be meeting with Desi again during our trip in November. I first met Desi during our spring trip – he was the last kid I saw that trip and he left quite an impression. He was so fun and animated when he answered my questions, and so funny! I was practically crying from laughing so hard! So, needless to say, I was looking forward to spending more time with him.

We have been quiet for a week. It was my intent to post about a few children and tell you all about the photography workshop I was attending in Phoenix, AZ where the weather is mild and the oranges are ripe on the trees. We have been thinking about Aldon for the last week and today we are finally able to share a little about him! Aldon is 11 years old and we met him in November during our Taiwan Superkids trip. He is a polite sweet spirited boy. His smile makes your heart happy, and yes, a little melancholy too.
