Meet 5 year old Arnold! He is a fun-loving, social little guy with a sweet giggle we heard a lot while spending time with him in November. He was good at figuring out our toys which were new to him, and even helped to clean up without being asked!

We were able to spend time with 5 year old Avril again during our Superkids trip to Taiwan in November. We have met sweet Avril a couple of times now, and we always enjoy getting to spend time with her. She is active and fun, and has a good sense of humor! Avril is very verbal and fun to talk with. When we asked if she would count for us, she said “I can’t count now, I’ll get too distracted!” I think playing takes priority over counting any day!
Avril loves to play pretend and made sure to cook us up a big feast. At one point she was bored of our conversation, so she went and climbed into a baby bouncer seat and looked at us

Adelle and Ada are sisters who are very close to each other. We have photos of the sisters, just not ones that can be shared publicly. To see photos, please request to join our private Taiwan Advocacy Group on Facebook.
Adelle is 10 years old and is the quieter of the 2. She is shy and doesn’t like to do new things without her sister to encourage her.

Archer is a sweet, gentle boy who just turned 5 years old earlier this month. Gladney's Superkids team met him when we were in Taiwan in April 2019. He was born prematurely and has global delays, but he followed directions well for us and according to his caregivers he speaks in complete sentences. In a recent update received, it’s stated that he has shown improvement in his speech and is more motivated to express his needs through speech.

Kai is an adorable little guy who will be turning 7 years old in a couple of weeks! Kai is in the 1st grade and told us his favorite thing about school is PE and playing tag with his friends. Kai loves to play with Legos and he built a huge tower out of blocks with Bill during our visit in November!
Kai also likes to watch cartoons, especially Ultraman, and play outside. He told us his favorite food was vegetables, just not eggplant!

We met Kent for the first time on his 6th birthday last fall! Since this was his first time meeting us, he was pretty shy. We could tell that he has a close relationship with his foster mother as he looked to her for reassurance and followed her directions. In fact, his foster mother described him as “a little prince”! She said that he is sweet, cuddly, active, and likes attention.
