Edited to add: Martha Osbourne from the Rainbowkids website also plans to be at these events! She has been such an amazing advocate for waiting children and is just an all-around lovely person. We are thrilled that she will be joining us!

I was so excited when I learned that we would be meeting with Desi again during our trip in November. I first met Desi during our spring trip – he was the last kid I saw that trip and he left quite an impression. He was so fun and animated when he answered my questions, and so funny! I was practically crying from laughing so hard! So, needless to say, I was looking forward to spending more time with him.

Arlo is an 8 year old boy who likes playing with remote control cars and playing at the park. He likes playing with friends at school and is good at following rules.

We have been thinking about Aldon for the last week and today we are finally able to share a little about him! Aldon is 11 years old and we met him in November during our Taiwan Superkids trip. He is a polite sweet spirited boy. His smile makes your heart happy, and yes, a little melancholy too.

Archie s a handsome 9 year old boy who describes himself as a considerate child. His foster mom agrees with him saying that even when his peers do something unkind to him he tries to explain away their behavior so that they will not get in trouble.
