Meet sweet Allison who is 3 ½ years old. We have photos and several videos of Allison, but none that can be shared publicly. Allison is described as vibrant and friendly. She likes to cuddle with caregivers. She likes to play with any toy given to her, and she is still learning how to properly play with different types of toys.

Kristine will be turning 6 years old this summer. She is an active little girl and loves playing on the sports fields at the nearby school. Kristine likes to color and told the social worker that she is practice not coloring outside the lines. She also enjoys when her foster mother reads storybooks to her. Her foster mother describes Kristine as curious, persistent and friendly.

We got to meet with sweet 11 year old Miranda again during our Superkids trip to Taiwan in November. When she walked in the room I was struck by how tall she had gotten – she had easily grown several inches since we last visited with her. While I was excited to spend some time with her, I was sad to think about how she should be growing and thriving in a forever family.

Soon to be 3 years old, Guy's file was prepared in September 2019.  At the time of file preparation his file states that he was thriving under excellent care by his caretaker.  Guy is able to walk and run on his own.  He is able to take off his shoes and put them on the shelf unassisted.  He is able to locate his favorite toy on the shelf - the ones that make music - and play with them on the mat.  He likes to dance and move his body when he hears music playing. He is reported to giggle with excitement when he dances!  Guy offers a hand when playtime is over and helps clean up.  His favorite activity is playing outdoors.  Wouldn't it be amazing to have Guy home with your family next spring, right before his next birthday, playing catch in the yard and swinging on his swing set?

Howard's file was prepared in the summer of 2019, when he was 1 1/2 years old. An update request has been made to find out more information about his health and developmental progress.

We have met Mason several times with the Superkids team over the last few years. Mason is a considerate, smart, articulate and athletic 11 year old boy. He is currently in the 5^th grade and works hard at school – he even told me that he likes doing homework!

We don’t have photos of siblings Kelly and Ken that can be shared publicly, but trust me when I say they are adorable! We can share photos and a video with anyone who we can confirm meets the requirements to adopt from Taiwan.

We have met 4 ½ year old Kaeleb several times with Superkids over the last couple of years. Kaeleb loves playing with toy cars! He prefers independent play, but likes cuddling with his caregivers. He can usually follow directions well and complete tasks when asked.

Meet 7 year old Arthur! He was a little shy and quiet at first when we spent time together in November, but quickly warmed up. He did amazingly well on all of our tasks - he even did some of the harder cognitive games we usually play with the kids closer to 10 years old! His foster mother described him as gentle and considerate. He will often help her with chores, even though it’s not his favorite activity.

SuperKids has taken numerous trips to China and Taiwan to visit and provide assessments to potential families wanting to learn more about a waiting child.  It was nearly 4 years ago when we last saw Jack, but we have never forgotten him.  10 year old Jack has been a favorite among many of our professional volunteers and caseworkers at Gladney.... but yet he still waits.

We have Jack described as smart, vibrant and energetic.  He likes to talk with people and when he is happy, he talks with his friends and is very excitable.  He has a good relationship with his peers in the classroom and orphanage setting.  He is liked by all.
