With 62.6 million volunteers working 7.8 billion hours in America, Gladney is thankful for each and everyone of the men, women, and children who chose to share their hearts volunteering for Gladney.

One of the many adoption services that Gladney provides to our clients is pre adoption education through Pathways Training.  Pathways is a two-day training program offered several times each year.

Child Abuse Prevention

WHAT:           

Six local social service agencies are hosting a collaborative event aimed at increasing awareness of child maltreatment during Child Abuse Prevention Month on April 4. For the Sake of the Children is a joint effort of ACH Child and Family Services, Alliance For Children, CASA of Tarrant County, Gladney Center for Adoption, Lena Pope and The Parenting Center. A panel discussion featuring the chief executive from each organization will explore how each agency and the community can work together to prevent child abuse. It will be followed by a networking hour. The event is an informative kickoff to Child Abuse Prevention Month, offering ways for the community to get involved.

Our Adoption Story

This dream has been 6 years in the making. I don't regret our struggle because as a couple it made us more honest, our faith grew significantly, and it gave such an amazing opportunity to experience the love and compassion of other people. But mostly I don't regret it because without that experience we wouldn't have the child that God always meant for us to have.
